From a second-hand canopy yard on the Old Warmbaths Road to a 2 000 m² factory supplying dealers across South Africa.
Our story
Customer service by excellence
Club Canopies started out in 1989 as Die Canopy Hoek, one of the first canopy centres trading in second-hand canopies. We soon realised there was real demand for customised canopies, and set out to build our own.
Today we supply canopies to most of the dealers in and around Pretoria, to dealers as far afield as Louis Trichardt and Middelburg, and to customers in all provinces of South Africa.
As the bakkies on South African roads have become more streamlined and stylish, we have kept developing new canopies and upgrading our range to suit.

How the Club was built
- 1989
Die Canopy Hoek opens
We begin trading in second-hand canopies in Bon Accord, on the Old Warmbaths Road north of Pretoria.
- 1996
Our own factory
Director Sampie Wannenburg buys a plot less than a kilometre from the original yard. We build a 2 000 m² factory and, after months of research, our first canopy.
- Growth
The Club canopy takes shape
Year after year the design is refined: double-skin construction, safety glass, colour matching and our own spray booth for rubberising.

Supplying South Africa
Canopies, roof racks and rubberising for private owners, fleets and dealers in every province.
